I found a hole in my day
A moment with nothing planned
This never happens to me
Not sure I can let that stand
Good a time as any
Get in some self-recriminations
Review regrets
Catch up on ruminations
Yeah, I should get something done
Quick, while I’m under the gun
Can’t let this moment be lost
What with all this gear had just cost
Try to focus on the hum of my home
Anything but let my mind roam
Or center on the beats of my breath
Will this crap distract me from my
slow impending death, slow impending death
A wave machine I don't know why I bought
A fool and his money, neither can be taught
How to do nothing
Money squandered on fresh nag champa
Singing bowl set, Gaiam foam brick,
Chakra candles, healing crystals,
White noise speaker, statue of Shiva
Gonna have another go
"If at first you don’t succeed..."
Cheap ocean sounds like a screaming rat
But it should be all that I need
To get my mind on the moment I’m in
See another second begin
Can I make it one minute more?
Should I be keeping score?
What time should I aim for?
A wave machine I bought so now I own
I closed my eyes and now I cannot be shown
A wave machine that whispers what I thought
Taunts and lies about how I cannot be taught
How to do nothing
A wave machine I tossed, it had to go
Into the lake so now I will never know
A wave machine that now I can’t return
Got a sinking feeling that I will never learn
I will never learn
How to do nothing

Mes titres favoris sont "Gunshot Lips", "Algorithm", "Butterfly suite", "22 Layers of sunlight'... Olivier SEGAS

I received this as a surprise present by the band for pre-ordering the upcoming album, so thanks a lot to you, too :-))
As could be expected by Pat Sanders & Co, highly melodic prog that should, for instance, appeal too friends of Fish-era Marillion (although Uncle Fish would never have reached those high notes ;-) ) and some instrumentals (from beautiful miniatures like Bubbles to the more epic Last Supper). Among many other fine things offered here, I especially love Pat's piano playing! Carsten Pieper
